Seattle Pics

the only time it was clear enough to see the
olympic mtns across the bay

across the street from our hotel, taken
from our balcony

sweet baby Ethan

Avery is more interested in playing

This baby sea otter was fun to watch and very cute. We are
glad her mom decided to go get her and bring her over to
the glass for us to see.

We waited around for the octopus feeding only to miss it
by a few minutes. We got the time mixed up.
There is a huge octopus population in the bay there.

our tour boat which took us around the bay

It was chilly but not too bad, 40s.

giving the pig our change

Pike's Place Market was smaller than I thought it would be
but still hadsome good stuff but the kids were not feeling
cooperative by that point in the day so we left.

It took a few wrong turns but we finally managed to see the
troll under the bridge. There's construction in the area.

Ben is so good to always play games and such with the kids.

It's Elder and Sister Newman all the way from Nauvoo!

brotherly past time of taking their pulse. Ben's a real dad,
spit up on his shirt and everything. hee hee

Look at those cute kids! Ethan you are adorable! Baby face...

Space needle day

glass elevator, felt a bit like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Discovery Park was fun

the boys were in heaven playing in all
the forts someone had made

Space Needle night

Science Center day, we also saw Journey 2 in Imax 3D there

The butterfly house was cool but Avery didn't like it at all. He
was like, "Get me out of here!" He didn't enjoy the large butterflies
fluttering around him I guess. However, he loved the
armadillo at the zoo. We happened to be there when the
worker was feeding it so he picked it up for the kids
to get a close look and told them all about it.

Zoo day was the only really rainy day but it was fine.
We had fun anyway. Especially because Ben came with us.

the river otters kind of looked like they had mange or something

these little buildings gave us a chance to warm up

Aiden loves monkeys and apes

Who knew you could sit back to back with a gorilla at the zoo? =)
